Topaz Class’ Breaking News!

To round off their learning on volcanoes, all the children in Topaz Class made these fantastic news reports:

Year 4 – Song Academy

Today we were visited by some musicians from the Song Academy who taught us how to write a song about our IPC topic Natural Disasters! We will be playing this as part of our Exit point!

Year 4 – Bee Workshop

We were visited by some local actors to help them create a play about bees. We learnt the waggle dance and some sign language to help us express our ideas to one of the actresses.

Year 4 – Eid Learning.

This term we have had a small IPC topic to celebrate Eid, we have learnt about the story of the Prophet Muhammad and Eid and how the Five Pillars of Islam affect Eid.

On the 10th of November we are having our assembly!

Year 4 trip to the Natural History Museum

Year 4 went to the Natural History Museum on Tuesday 2oth September, we visited the Red Zone and learnt a little more on Natural Disasters for our topic.

Royal Albert Hall

Year 3 and Year 4 went on an excursion to Royal Albert Hall for the Primary Proms.

We listened to wonderful musicians and even did some singing.  We heard a steel pan band,  a rock band, marimba player and a choir.

Bicycle Smoothies

Owen let us ride a bicycle to mix all the fruit up to make a smoothy.  It tasted refreshing because it had lots of different fruit.
